I will also be bringing food and water, but above is everything considered in my “base weight”. I have tested 95% of everything on this gear list on previous backpacking trips, so hopefully I won’t have any issues!

You barely have anything! Which I guess is the point haha. I wanna see what food your bringing too! And how much water you carry at a time. Have fun Chica!!
Jenna says
Haha. Yeah, there not much extra stuff in there. My pack is nice and light though! I’ll do a post about food and water soon. And thanks!!

Thank you for posting this. I haven’t done any back country hiking in a LONG time and this was very helpful to look at. Me and my girlfriend are leaving tomorrow to driver out to Glacier to see as much as we can. I would really appreciate if you would share how you all packed for that trip. Thank you!
Jenna says
Hi! I’m glad you found it helpful. For my trip to Glacier I basically packed the exact same things as I have listed in this post. I wore different shorts, packed a puffy (which I didn’t use), and brought warm socks to wear while sleeping. Other than those things I brought all the same gear. Enjoy Glacier! Also, be safe with the fires.

How much does your pack weigh?
Jenna says
I haven’t properly weighed everything, but without food and water it’s probably about 10 lbs.
